Erling Haaland

If we are going to pay £150m for a striker then it has to be Haaland , his age and sell on value is a massive reason but also he is a young ambitious , aggressive player who will terrorise opposing defences . Kane's career is on a downward trajectory , his experience is his main attraction and the guarantee of 30 goals a season but i would be surprised if we got five good years out of Kane with his injury record.
If we are spending £150m then for me , its Haaland, if we bung Riola enough money it will happen
I agree. And if it means saving the cash till next summer to throw in the kitchen sink for Haaland then so be it. The 160M Levy is asking is ridiculous, he's taken the piss long enough. Time to walk away I say.

Levy is the all consuming astute businessman , its all about the "numbers" with him , he is an accountant running a football club hence why Spurs will never achieve anything , if Levy doesnt take our apparent updated bid , then more fool him. Kane will be in exactly the same position next summer but worth half as much.

Here is the masterplan:

We sign Haaland in January. We pay bit more than the 65m clause but much less than the currently quoted 160m.
let Levy rot at Spurs with an unhappy Kane fighting for 6th place again. I hope Wolves stuffs them this weekend. and hopefully they have a long and shit travel in CL (Clown League).

Until then throw Delap into the deep water and lets see what he is made of. he has the genes of Rory Delap, he wont be scared of some PL defenders haha.
and if ball comes for a shot centrally vs the keeper I prefer him to hit it than Torres, Jesus, Sterling etc.

Aye, and it will lead to Kane being frustrated and bitter if he is denied a move, especially if Levy has renagued on this 'gentlemans agreement' that Harry claims. It's now or never for Kane to get his dream move because our board will only play poker for so long. I'm ambivalent tbh. Much rather have Haaland as he has so much to prove at such a young age. He'd smash it in this league, hopefully for us.

I don't know if it's true but this is currently the Rumours in Norway:

- Haaland has an Agreement with Barcelona.

- Real Madrid and Barcelona made a pact. Real Madrid signs Mbappe and Barcelona Haaland so they market them like Ronaldo vs Messi

- Laporta told Pep not to go for Haaland in his Dinner and Pep already knows that Haaland will move to Barcelona.

- Real Madrid and Barcelona will force the English clubs to play in the Super League. Every English club has signed a 18 Pages Document which binds them to League. They can't leave the Super League.

- Chelsea and Manchester City sent Perez a Letter to disband the Super League with JP Morgan but Perez refused. The Super League will be a open League
Funniest post I’ve read all summer. English clubs can tell Barca and Real to fuck off, they’re in no position to tell other clubs what to do. Barca have £1.15bn of debt, they’re fucked. With Messi leaving, that’s going to cost them a shit tonne of commercial cash flow.

I think Håland is at his best as a counter-attacking player and I don't believe Pep fancies him for our team at all

Pep loves Haaland, it was so obvious based on his comments around the time we played Dortmund. Describing his link up play as 'always perfect', stating 'everybody knows how good he is' etc. It's important to realise reports linking City to Haaland suddenly stopped after the agents tour in Spain, it's nothing to do with the quality of the player, probably the behind the scenes and cost of the entire operation.

He’d suit us then. Our counter attack is abysmal and it has been for a couple of years. I lose count at how many chances of countering we waste. We need a fast striker who shit defenders up, not a fucking false 9 that halts any chance of a counter.

Not sure how a counter-attacking player would suit the team that averages the highest possession in the league and routinely faces parked bus defences. Being fast doesn't really help that much when there's no space to run into, ask Raheem Sterling
