It would be a wise move for him. Develop in a team known for bringing talent through and trusting young players. I know they have qualified for CL, but lets face it, it is 2 games getting pumped by Bayern. With dortmund he might have a chance of winning the europa league, as well as securing the move longer term.

tbh the only thing that has given me even a sniff of thinking there's a chance of this in Jan is the potential cap on agent's fees potentially being brought in in the Spring.

Yeah i've ignored those headlines in fairness, they sounded improbable.

But agree on your logic. I had previously claimed I couldn't see a january move being in anyone's interest. But that, if true, would certainly make it in one party's interest to push for it to be done sooner.
