Erling Haaland

When the agent’s fee is the same amount of money you would need to buy Bernardo then I don’t think it’s a good deal….and that’s without payments to Alfie.

When the agent will try to move him on again after a couple of seasons then I don’t think it’s a good deal.

When an agent will want to insert a low buy out clause then I don’t think it’s a good deal.

Now the player…

I would love him at City….but to fit in with our system. I don’t want any stars resulting in a team like PSG.

His wage demands have to fit our existing structure which they don’t.

For me the negatives currently outweigh the positives which is a huge shame.

To be honest I think any club that signs him will regret it and it won’t be us.

We would be very interested if the above wasn’t true so let’s hope it isn’t.

For me I couldn’t care less about any costs. We won’t need to buy a striker for ten years if we get him, he‘d be our new Aguero.

I doubt there’s any point his agent tries to move him on, where else would be better than here?

I don’t believe Khaldoon would accept any buy out clause, unless it was something stupid like £500m.

I don’t see any negatives to buying one of the top three strikers in the world and adding him to this brilliant team.

I see a huge number of negatives to him going to a rival especially in England, it would bring rags close to our level especially in terms of results, and probably put Chelsea or Liverpool above us if they signed him. We absolutely cannot afford not to sign him.

Unlike Dortmund, we are not a stepping stone, so I have confidence in the club if we do sign him, to tie him up on a decent length contract.

If we perform like we have been, and then can get the Champs league monkey off our back regularly in the coming years, plus with the boost of having Haaland, where else would he want to go really? Success talks with keeping players.

With the talk of capping agent fees, this may well be Mino's last fat pay day.
