Erling Haaland

I don't have anything against Haaland and actually love to watch him a lot. The 2 negatives against him - his agent and his injury history.

Will he be quiet if Haaland is put on bench on an important game if Pep feels necessary to do so?

His injury history looks a bit worried for such a young age especially when speed and strength being the selling point of his play.

As long as he still has speed of thought he'll be fine I reckon. Didn't know he has significant injury record

When the agent’s fee is the same amount of money you would need to buy Bernardo then I don’t think it’s a good deal….and that’s without payments to Alfie.

When the agent will try to move him on again after a couple of seasons then I don’t think it’s a good deal.

When an agent will want to insert a low buy out clause then I don’t think it’s a good deal.

Now the player…

I would love him at City….but to fit in with our system. I don’t want any stars resulting in a team like PSG.

His wage demands have to fit our existing structure which they don’t.

For me the negatives currently outweigh the positives which is a huge shame.

To be honest I think any club that signs him will regret it and it won’t be us.

We would be very interested if the above wasn’t true so let’s hope it isn’t.

Do you think Dortmund regret signing him? Do you think clubs that tried to but didn't are thankful they didn't?

Because he doesn't! He's had one medium length injury, a muscle strain.

Other than that he's just had a bunch of knocks and niggles he got rested for 1 game here and there, the kind of thing you'd expect from a growing teenager playing top flight football.

People quickly forget things. Remember not long ago there were news saying he would be out until 2022 with an injury? Lol. I said that was bullshit and he’s already back playing. Compare his injury history to Mbappe’s, who had a more extended one. You never hear a word about Mbappe’s injuries. Because that’s absolutely common. Look at Foden this season after seeming like he was injury-proof. It’s the way it goes for all of them

The agent does what the player wants. Look at Verratti, he's not tried to move him on (despite the money he would command) because the player is happy.

I’ve said a million times: Some people here have an outdated view that an agent makes more money if the player is moved on to another club. That is an almost hilarious falsehood. Of course for him to move from Dortmund to a bigger club is a different story, because even Dortmund was very aware they would be a stepping stone. But once he’s here, there is no way up, it’s the top of the food chain. He will not be leaving anywhere for bigger wages or commissions because contract renewals have big fat ones as well. I’m not saying there won’t be tensions or discussions, but that’s what happens with our own players, like KdB or Sterling and others, each a different case, but it’s all about negotiating, which our professionals are more than used to. Even fucking Pogba (a Raiola player!!!) has been at United since 2016 even though he could have found a spot for himself in a more stable club in better condition

Barca are perhaps the most stupid run club in all of football. They want Haaland and other targets.

they are taking out a 250 million loan apparently so they can bring transfers in.

Also Laporta is on about selling the naming rights of the non camp to fund deals and will sell to the highest bidder.

Maybe then can afford Torres after all
