What would you call it then as "farmers league" doesn't sit comfortably with you ? Because whatever you want to call it, it's not a very competitive league for a top class footballer to be in . Neymar just picks up his huge paycheck and visits his sister , Mbappe has seen the error of his ways and wants out, but at least he is a very rich young man now. Well the premier League like it or not does offer the best football in Europe at this time. The prem for all it's faults and there are many is the most successful worldwide.
It's the only league at the moment that can show off Haalands talent fully and only one team has the squad that can make the most of his talents and develop him further .

So now we’re talking best football and not the competitiveness of the league? In your opinion, the Premier League offers the best football. What are your criteria for measuring this? Standard, excitement, fun, wages? I have seen some utter dross from the PL, and I’m not excluding City, yet have seen some fantastic lower-league football around Europe. The PL has a shit, sterile atmosphere in the grounds, tickets are expensive and you can’t drink beer in view of the pitch. Brilliant!

Nothing is stopping United, Chelsea or Liverpool from competing toe to toe with us. They have the resources. That’s not the case in France

You know damn well if we get Haaland then we have the potential to dominate the league, but that won't happen the domination part (well maybe one player would like that!!) Simply because it would be the wrong team dominating from the press and league point of view .
