I’m not sure regards the offers etc. but I do agree wholeheartedly that, if we were keen but missed out then yes, we did dodge a bullet.
I didn’t want us to employ him then and with every day he gets older I want us to sign him even less.

that's the key for me short term value with kane and at the price they wanted city dodge a bullet
haaland or mbappe then yes the price tag would be value long term and have a resell price if they wanted out

Manchester city would be mad to not try and sign haaland or mbappe ? its what the squad needs and add goals to what we have then manchester city become even more dangerous to the elite

Kane to city for a reduced fee seems realistic. Maybe Pep is trying to help Barcelona by nudging him in their direction next season when the financial situation improves.

Kane train anyone? ;)

Said from the day our summer deal for him ‘collapsed’ that it wouldn’t be remotely surprising if he ended up in Salford next summer instead. That said, rags would actually be a step down from Spurs at this point.

Even with 'The Class of 92' behind them, I don't think Salford will be able to afford him.

And that really would be dreaming. Out of interest, how old was he at the time of that interview and who was doing the interviewing?
16/17 in the Norwegian press

Speaking back in 2017 to Norwegian newspaper Aftenposten while playing for Molde, Erling Haaland said: "I want to be the best. The dream is to win the Premier League with Leeds". "In addition, the goal is to be a better player than Dad was. I hope to get more international matches than he did."
