Mbappe, just doesn't make sense signing short term contract if he really wants Madrid.......something doesn't smell right to me.

he be writing off circa 50M+ signing on fee.

I get what you mean, (that Madrid will go all out for Haaland) but at least he won't be up against us unless it champs league. We'll have another top quality alternative lined up to fill our number 9 spot.

It could work out bad for Madrid though if Erling choose's us and Mbappe stays at PSG. Ideal scenario :-)
 
Mbappe will be at Madrid next season, contract or no contract.

If I was him no contract, PSG decision when Madrid bid last season. Don’t think he’s run down his contract to go on a free.
