Yup they’ll use the “we don’t want another Hazard” excuseI am not much for the "game theory conspiracy hunting" kind but I do think it's interesting quite a lot of madrid sources have come out yesterday and today with a message saying "they are checking haaland's injury record".
On the one hand, it doesn't seem like they're angling for a "and that's why they didnt sign him because hes an injury risk" as most of the stuff i've seen says they think his injuries are not serious.
But it is kind of a weird angle to all start parroting at the same time
No player can ever possibly reject them, as you know… It has to be their choice to walk awayI am not much for the "game theory conspiracy hunting" kind but I do think it's interesting quite a lot of madrid sources have come out yesterday and today with a message saying "they are checking haaland's injury record".

It reminds me of the confusion regarding the date Messi was supposed to send the Burofax. LolI wouldn't be surprised if the April 30th deadline is true. There has always been a lot of confusion in regards to the timeline of the release clause. It also ties in with the sudden rush for his signature and constant news. There was also that report from Keegan saying City expect to know within a month.
