I didn't know players buy extensive Property Portfolios globally please tell me more on this ?

Haaland has his Heart set on playing in Spain in the near future.Hence why he bought property there. No idea why this upsets you.Of course it isn't evidence, just an indicator, it is well documented, he has told people around him of his career intentions..

If Barcelona/Madrid were not both skint, and could afford to sign Haaland right now, it is highly likely he would be going to Spain then end of this season.

As it happens they dont have a Pot to piss in.

There loss now becomes our gain.

Haaland needs a short term alternative to activate the paltry release clause, not let it expire.

I fully expect he wants to come to us on a short term 3 year contract given his Father connections. Before the lucrative move over to Spain.

No one has said he wont have a change of Heart when he gets here, and signs for us,and stay longer.Money decides everything ultimately.

It isn't all about Haaland though. As good as a player he is,it any deal has to be good for us as a Club.

We might not be happy with a 3 year contract for one of the hottest property's in the game.It leaves us open to getting screwed over by his agent. We might expect 5 years minimum commitment from the player.

Haaland Agent might see us a stepping Stone.

We as a Club rightly will not view ourselves a stepping Stone.
No, one Stone is more than adequate.

Anyone think, Alverez aside, that he'll be our only signing in the summer?

Too much to ask for a defensive midfielder and another midfielder with pace?

I think a DM must be on the cards.

Midfield wise I think Palmer has justified his inclusion so no.

Yeah Haaland and a DM.

RM are after the Monaco lad and I’d love to beat them twice to a transfer.

Tchouameni. Not sure how you say it!
Presuming we can’t get Kimmich but you never know!

I did not say anything about property portfolios. He bought a vacation house in Spain. Whether in the future he ends up playing for Barcelona or Real Madrid, he would not be living in that house for his time there. If we polled our members as a destination where they would like to have a vacation house, my guess is quite many would say Spain. This isn’t indication of anything. There has been no reliable quote of anyone around him that he would like to play in Spain. You bought at face value propaganda from the Madrid and Barcelona media as they have been pushing this for over a year. I don’t blame you; it was said so many times that one eventually can’t be blamed for wondering if it’s true. And even if that were true, no it doesn’t bother me at all. If I were a player or manager and wasn’t attached to a club, maybe I myself would have liked to play in multiple countries. I also don’t buy your concept of stepping stone, as if the club he plays for now will mean less than one he could eventually play for afterwards. He isn’t leaving Dortmund out of need to activate his release clause either; sporting wise, he won’t be getting anything out of there anymore, he needs to move to a bigger project. We have signed several players in similar situations, that were too good or too big to stay were they were. Finally, you might have missed the discussions earlier, but Tolmie reported earlier that he has information it will be a six year contract with no release clause

If he only stays 3 years that's cheaper from a Birthday cake perspective.

Matheus Nunes was linked, he’s quality Sporting would take half of his release clause according to reports so that’s 30 million euros bargain.
