Haalummox is not the right fit, could see him working in centurion team but not in a clever possession system. We need everyone getting involved and good on the ball, he's weaker even than Jesus in this aspect. I know people say he seems down to earth but can't see that staying the same if we make him our record signing/highest earner. Pretty much every 89m+ transfer has been an unmitigated disaster to this point, would prefer us to stick with our 60-70m limit.

Hazards dad wanted 5 million and a contract for the brother at the last minute. Hardly a few quid. Hazard also had several seasons where he wasn’t arsed. We signed Sane and Sterling, I think that’s worked out well in hindsight.

Van Persie? 31 million for one fucking season. Yeah.

Txiki was moving in at that stage and under some pressure with FFP. He's been world class since. Cop on to yourself.

You reckon, you haven’t the faintest who our target would have been if we had found a buyer for Otamendi and freed up a non homegrown spot. I also haven’t seen anyone try to sell Zinchenko since he turned Wolves down 2 tears ago.
