I am a little skeptical whether City can buy him because if he moves there'll be Bayern, Chelsea, Man Utd, Liverpool, Real Madrid, PSG etc all waving chequebooks too and contrary to the opinion in football, City don't tend to win those battles.

Don't think he will be going to PSG. Time to get him was before Dortmund. Now, he will think he has already played in a "very good but not top" club/league and will want the very best.

Also, PSG don't have that much money to spend, especially on a forward. Except if, as expected, Mbappé leaves.
