Been around too long to get excited yet. I’d love us to sign Haaland, and we desperately need to, but I’m not building my hopes up because it‘ll be too disappointing if he signs for someone else.

Me too, and strawberry super mousse!

We used to make sandwiches out of them we were so poor, they filled us up.

The crispy pancakes, not the Super Mousse, you understand?

We weren't that destitute!!
Ahhhh, the memories. Crispy pancakes with Batchelor's Super Noodles on the side. Hippopotomousse for dessert. Maybe an Umbongo to wash it down.

I'm calling it now. This summer's "It's Quiet" will be the biggest ever. For the first time in a long time City are going to be in and around some unbelievable talent IMO.

You should charge @Ric for the updates ;)
I have no evidence so it's just a feeling that our "problem" with UEFA since 2018 and especially the relish shown by our PL "rivals" trying to exploit it to ruin the club off the pitch and destroy it on it led to a complete change of policy at the Etihad. I have always believed that those running our club want a PL which can compete with us and, in particular, a rivalry with the rags which is genuine. For generating interest, football tourism and revenue this is desirable, but what we have seen repeatedly is a determination by the 'istry clubs to use the rules of the game to make the game anything but competitive. Some very influential voices at our club may feel that, while our rivals are on their knees as a result of the pandemic, it is time to show them how weak their position is and exactly what kind of domination we can make permanent if they continue to misbehave. Haaland, Messi and even one or two others would make the point nicely.

Can't believe we are only in March and already I am getting transfer overload seems this summer could be the window to end all transfer windows. Good job everywhere is shut. Haha
If I had time I'd have Photoshopped it but imagine Messi, Haaland, Grealish & Goosen with Pep at the back. All announced 1st of June, then just sit back and laugh.

Yes.

As though all their worst fears have suddenly been proved correct resulting in a business plan they knew could not compete with developing before their eyes.

Give them credit they were correct. They feared our owner because he knew how to invest. They tried to stop it from day one. They alienated the media, bent the rules, high jacked var and somehow demonized investment whilst allowing debt.
