Delap being loaned I could also see, but I don't see us buying 2 strikers, that seems unnecessary to me.

I'd rather Jesus or Delap deputizing that back-up role. Delap being similar to Haaland to retain the style we play with Haaland.

It's funny to see the change in our squad philosophy just from 10 years ago. I remember the 2009-2010 season when City had:

Tevez, Adebayor, Bellamy, Benjani, Roque Santa Cruz, and Robinho. That's 6 forwards. What a bloated squad that was. Makes you really appreciate the direction and focus that Begiristain, Soriano, and Guardiola have when it comes to building a team.

I think we could get both for around 170.

Factor in players we can sell from loans (CFG signings), and even the potential sale of Mahrez (which is the only way I see Grealish going anyways), the net cost is probably only 100m. Easy for the club.

Mahrez isn't going anywhere IMO
