There's talk with player reps and players clubs sure....behind closed doors.. Not in public, certainly not in public in the middle of the season when a player is still has a long contract with their club.
Why you think we'll take part in this when we care massively about our image ect is bewildering.
Haaland isn't coming here.

First of all, you claimed the player has been whoring HIMSELF around Europe. When has he done that? Every time he has spoken he has talked about being focused on Dortmund.
Secondly, none of this is being done in public. The meetings took place behind closed doors. The only thing that happened was a picture taken at the airport in Barcelona. Looking at the evidence and what happened afterwards, I am deeply inclined to believe Laporta informed the paparazzi about the situation and wanted those pictures taken because it benefits him. Notice how there were no pictures taken in Madrid.
Why do people keep talking about image here? How insecure and small

If it’s a pr stunt, why would the haaland camp get involved, if he only wants city, why get involved, why go to Barca then Real Madrid, no way on this earth they pitch up at ringway for another stunt. They clearly haven’t decided yet and if the past is to go on when city want some a1 class player we end up with second choice every time.

Maybe they have decided in principle but they are two of the biggest clubs in the world. They would definitely want to hear their proposal?

They are flying around Europe publicly showing their feathers to anyone who’s interested to create a market for when the time comes to discussing wages, fees etc. We have no history of getting involved in bidding war in the txiki, soriano era, and have walked away from many a deal and we have a well structured wage bill that rewards the top senior players and has created harmony within the club and i can’t see that changing now unless the club have decided Haaland is worth blowing all that out of the water.

Every agent does this for every player, every season. You're only hearing about this one as 1 - Haaland is a bigger story than most, as is Raoila and 2 - Barca are leakier than a Coliander when it comes to the media.

Is this becoming abit disrespectful to Dortmund ?

Dortmund have said Haaland isnt for sale yet his dad and his agent are going on a trip around Europe touting him to clubs.

Its fast becoming a circus.

Why go to Barcelona? This cant be a good move for your son, barca cant afford the pay the players wages at the moment !. Shouldnt be allowed to sign anyone until the can honor the contracts.

His representatives are, they aren't doing it without his knowledge are they?
It is being done in public, why fly out to meet in person, what's wrong with a zoom call?
I don't care about our public image but the club certainly does

What Mino does is make the behind the scenes a little more public.

De Bruyne's agent had PSG and Bayern on the line all the way through negotiations with us.

Also, we cannot forget just how experienced Txiki and Soriano are. People act like Laporta and Perez are some kind of footballing godfathers. We have the 'best in class' set up. Pep, Txiki, Ferran, and a squad which almost guarantees titles.
