Erling Haaland

I just cannot see this in any way happening. He is about as far from a Pep player as you can get, nothing more than a big lump bully with a shit touch and not much other than physicality and a decent left foot to his game.
Sounds like Bony again.

What do you mean? If you think Dortmund will sell Haaland for 70M this summer you are wrong, they usually drive a hard bargain. Sancho asking price last summer, Dembele to Barca well over 100M, we aren't getting him on the cheap.
What I mean is posters saying offer this much and throw this player in and that player in and give him away etc etc. All these players that posters are saying give him away and give up this add on, are assets (with value)

Real Madrid cannot spend the kind of money it'll take to buy Haaland or Mbappe this summer without selling a shit load of players for a ridiculous fee. That's not happening in a COVID summer.

Also from Haaland's point of view - forget the Plan B stuff - Zidane is having a terrible season and Madrid look bereft of any confidence or plan. Their last big signing has been an enormous flop.

Think with Haaland my catchphrase until the summer will be 'focus on the football'. I believe that's what will decide things - not money and not reputation, but actual footballing potential.
I can see where you are coming from...and I think and hope you are right.......but there is always a nagging doubt when it comes to footballers, integrity and money.....and the same with agents (no matter who they are - parents or just advisors)

Is he Maradona? No. But he's a proven Premier League goalscorer who's got everything we don't have in our strikers; pace, power, height, goals.

We're playing very different football to how we did in 17/18, why not add a clinical striker who can dominate and then squeeze the life out of them through possession at 2-0? Especially if they're forced to sell. He's got a good relationship with De Bruyne and would flourish in a more attacking team. He's done well in average or defensive teams.

I have it on very good authority both Lukaku and Ings links are coming from somewhere other than City.

To put it another way, we aren't signing either player regardless of what happens with Haaland.
I would not have thought different, but those pretending Lukaku wouldnt be a brilliant addition are kidding themselves.

It would be very interesting to know what Haaland plan B actually is though??

I see it the other way, Aguero gets back on the pitch & shows Pep he can do it 1 more year even though he wont play every game next year hes still happy & Messi is here to keep the smile

He then goes off to Argentina or NYC in 2022

I honestly think Gabby will be gone, he needs to play & with Haaland , Messi, Phil, Sterling & Bernardo then I'm afraid hes toast

Mahrez could also feel playing regular at Madrid, PSG or Juve is better than every other week at City

3 Prem titles & League & FA cup trophys then both could take a run & jump

I'm no gambling man but I would say the below will possibly leave

Gabby 60m
Mahrez 60m
Angelino 15m
Harrison 9m
Sancho money 15m
Fernandinio wages 10m year
Aguero wages will half?

Messi free
Haaland 90m Sancho fee waved
Grealish 70m Luiz left alone
If Txiki can simultaneously get £15mill from a Sancho deal while also waiving it to get Haaland then he'll be a living legend on here ;)

Good to hear that. Any time I’ve seen Belgium play KDB seems to be creating chances for Lukaku to waste. Ings is in good form but looks like a good back up rather than the main man.

I would lose all faith in Txiki if he were to replace Aguero with Lukaku.

This also would be more of typical City transfer in the £60m mark unfortunately. Can see something in Lukaku rumours.

If we can't get Haaland for some reason then it has to be Felix or Martinez.

Stay away from Lukaku. Brilliant goalscorer for us but couldnt trap a bag of cement and doesnt like to press.

Not sure if he's improved technically enough at Inter to be an option for you but there must be better options out there. The only way you shpuld be signing him is as a poacher in the box, but avoid getting him involved in intricate build up play. He's an anti City player if ever I have seen one.

in recent time, when have the press got one of our "targets" correct. No chance we'll sign Lukaku. Agent(s) or Inter trying to create demand, be less surprised if he signs back to the RAGS.

I'm guessing but I'd say that our list of 3 actual targets this summer will be Haaland, Daka, and Nunez.

What about Bayern?

Bayern won’t have the capacity to make a move of this magnitude this summer (or ever). Plus they will be replacing the departing Alaba and also Thiago as they didn’t last summer. Will be a decent outlay as they are looking at Upamecano and Neuhaus. No chance they move for Haaland imo.

Even the €60m buyout in 2022 supposedly has another €20m agent fee attached to it. Remember how stingy they were over Leroy?
