Erling Haaland

I have it on very good authority both Lukaku and Ings links are coming from somewhere other than City.

To put it another way, we aren't signing either player regardless of what happens with Haaland.
Suspected as much, cheers. Goals against the also-rans apart, Lukaku in particular is the very antithesis of what a player needs to thrive in this team

Bayern won’t have the capacity to make a move of this magnitude this summer (or ever). Plus they will be replacing the departing Alaba and also Thiago as they didn’t last summer. Will be a decent outlay as they are looking at Upamecano and Neuhaus. No chance they move for Haaland imo.

Even the €60m buyout in 2022 supposedly has another €20m agent fee attached to it. Remember how stingy they were over Leroy?
Apparently they still owe us money for Sane and “will have to dig deep into their pockets” to pay it

It's so easy to use City's name as an agent because the assumption is always we have loads of money and will give massive contracts out.

What irks me a little bit is that some of the most respected transfer 'gurus' have no problem doing an agent's bidding for them. Castles is another one (like Ornstein) who keeps his relationships alive by happily peddling whatever they want him to.

Hence the Athletic glossed over Haaland, and didn't mention Daka or Nunez. Instead focussing on players in the middle of contract renewals. Very transparent.

Di Marzio is another one. Remember when Pjanic had a massive offer from City even though City had literally ZERO interest in him? That story was peddled right across Italy and all the way to bald Duncan's podcast too.

It is always amusing to read some of the players we’re “interested” in.

Players even used to do it themselves directly back in the days before mega agents and control freak club PR departments. They’d often call a friendly journo on the local beat and ask them to run with a bogus ‘transfer tug of war’ fairytale if they were after a pay rise

I just cannot see this in any way happening. He is about as far from a Pep player as you can get, nothing more than a big lump bully with a shit touch and not much other than physicality and a decent left foot to his game.
Lol and we are talking about haaland. Maybe try watching Lukaku and Haaland not just highlights and you would find out lukaku has a better touch. And you can also say Haaland is nothing but a sprinter with a good left foot

Wasn’t Di Marzio also one of the main drivers of the “Pep has agreed to leave City for Juventus” nonsense a couple of years ago?

I think if this does not happen.

The only reason will be because we can not stand his Agent.

He might have to get rid of Raiola, like Lukaku did.
Please stop talking about agents. We wanted to buy koulibaly from napoli but didn’t talk to their chairman. If we want Haaland, we can deal with third parties if we don’t want to talk to his agent. The only thing stopping us from getting haaland if we want him is, does haaland want to come? And can we reach an agreement with dortmund? So if the club wants him his agent is not an obstacle

It was definitely inside his ball park of bullshit. But there were others on that one too.

Also whilst I'm here and taking shots at people in the media. Adam Crafton has gone from "Is Guardiola still as desirable as he was a few years ago?" (basically is he finished) to yesterday giving it "It'll be awful for everyone else if City sign a striker this summer. They'll be so far ahead they'll dominate for years to come. Nobody can compete with them".

No idea who Adam Crafton is, but he’s sounds like a cûnt.
