I agree in part,but Koulibally has been on the decline for a couple of seasons and was never miles ahead of Dias if you know your football.

Its not at all comparable for the reason that those other two strikers are clearly miles behind an improving Haaland.

I think there was only a small majority of us who were happy when we went for Dias as most wanted koulibaly. Still think Dias was our main target all along

I was happy we didnt,vastly overrated and past his best.

Dias has been better than even the most optimistic could have predicted.

Nah, Dias most certainly wasn't our main target. Koulibaly and Kounde were definitely ahead, and pretty sure we enquired about Giminez too.

I'm guessing but I'd say that our list of 3 actual targets this summer will be Haaland, Daka, and Nunez.

That’s a massive drop off in talent. Even Benfica fans don’t rate Nunez, and not sure if Daka would suit us. We better get Haaland

Ever since I've been a City fan (about 12 years now), it seems to me that we've never bought the then-current consensus top 1 or 2 players available for a position; instead, we've tried to buy high quality players a bit under the radar - expensive, but perhaps a bit undervalued.

Haaland is a very hot commodity and is one of the very top targets for clubs looking for a striker.

So what do you think? Are we willing to spend very big on Haaland? - I honestly don't know for sure, but if so, this seems to be a departure from our previous signings. I hope that we are all in for Haaland - as I think he's likely the best striker of his generation.

Thing is we already tried to be cute with the replacement striker in getting jesus nice and early as a young player to be ready to fill Agueroes boots when the time came. Unfortunately for us that didnt pan out like we hoped. So we have to go all out. The same we go all out on a defender like Laporte or Dias (60m+) a ready good amazing striker is worth nearly double that so we cannot fuck around with this. Get Haaland and go hard.
