If Haaland needs space to run into he won't get that through the middle for us. Alternatively on the wings there's often the opportunity to beat a man and run in on goal. We usually forfeit that chance by turning back to pass but would Haaland have the belief and ability to take it on?

I don't think it's totally out of the question. At Barca Pep had had Villa and Henry on the wings while Messi was the false 9. The idea of having Messi drop into midfield because he had good ball control and pull defenders out of position to open up space for the wingers.

As far as Haaland, I think a lot will depend on if Dortmund qualify for the CL. If they do I don't think he'll move this summer.

I really want this transfer to be like Bernardo Silva every news site linked Bernardo to the rags and chelsea then in 24 hours he joined City. Can you imagine the reaction they all think hes signing for either chelsea or the rags then he ends up in a city shirt haha the piss that would boil.
