No I am not. CFC football operation is underwritten by Abramovic hence the historic debt wheras City now use the capital and debt makets (Silverlake and $650m borrowing). FFP is a reporting requirement that does not match cashflow. For example, City reportedly offered Villa £75m upfront for Grealish but as far as FFP reporting is concerned we can offset the transfer value over the length of the contract.

Us and Chelsea have different business models, but both have been outstanding success stories.

What Amramovic and the Sheik have invested is irrelevant and so very wrong to question.

I have an idea .....does this sound crazy ?

If Kane is a no no, we offer Dortmund 100m for Haaland now and loan him back to them for a year ..... we deffo get the player and play Delap/Jesus/Torres up front for a season ..... Dortmund said that they wont sell him this year as they feel he would get them into Champs League and that would make up for the loss of money in his buy out.

We deffo get Haaland next Summer, and we can void the deal if he gets injured in the 12 months of the loan ..... Dortmund get more money, the player for 1 season and we get him in 2022.

As Errol Brown would say ....everyones a winner.
