Erling Haaland

The fact the Rags have kept Cavani this season & been relatively conservative in this window suggests they'll be in the mix for Haaland next season.

I reckon they'll use the Olé connection & go balls deep with wages & agent fees to get him. Haaland doesn't strike me as a Real or Barca type player, but Mbappé does.

They’ve spent more than us 120m no out going either yet

Is it common knowledge?

I believe if he wanted to play in the Prem then he would be wearing Blue this season,we were all in for him and then we suddenly switched to Kane....why was that? And surely Dortmund would rather 130m this season than half that next?
Because he costs far more than Kane and we have a budget to comply with FFP. The money his Dad and agent want must be immense and they know they have a better chance of getting that cash next summer when the transfer fee is lower. When I think of clubs that are more willing to pay those agent fees, everything points to the rags replacing Cavani next summer with Haaland.

Chelsea look sorted with Lukaku, we will probably get Kane. Mbappe seems to want Madrid so it may come down to rags Bayern and PSG, I cant see Liverpool being in for him but you never know.
Can't say as I'm enthusiastic getting Kane if it means missing out on Haaland.
I think the feeling is we need to replace Aguero now, not in 12 months. Unlike the Rags with Cavani, Rashford & Martial, we've only got Jesus as a recognised senior No 9, so it's unfortunate in respect to Haaland that our needs are more acute.

The same applied to Chelsea, but they've resolved that with Lukaku, who also have Werner & Abraham (for now) too. Monday will tell us a lot about our pursuit for a striker. If we don't land Kane, only then will I expect us to be balls deep in the mix for Haaland next summer...

You’re living in the past

Our window isn't over yet. It seems the Rag's is. Sancho was a long term target, for £50m less than they were apparently quoted last summer. Varane was touted as the first £100m defender. Getting him for £40m is another decent move.

Everything I've seen from ManUre this summer suggests they're keeping their powder dry for Haaland next summer.

Getting his buddy from Dortmund and keeping the Norwegian manager does seem like a strategy

My thoughts exactly.

If you look at the numbers for him next year with his buyout and father agent payoffs plus Haaland will be wanting at least 450/600k a week you looking at a totally money layout of 260m that’s including a 5 year deal to Haaland! Plus no guarantees he will stick around renew his contract after 3 years with the agent they have. Massive gamble and why we staying away from him..

Plus we'd have to gamble on not buying a striker this year and then no guarantee next year that he says yes, we have no choice but to stay away.

The kane deal wont be far off what we could have gotten Haaland for if the player was convinced he wanted to come here,i dont think he ever was or does.I believe the club got wind of that and switched attention.

Off to Real Madrid in a year. They will get the clause fee together and turnover will cover Messi type wages. That is my opinion.

We will have Kane, but City wouldn't miss the chance of adding Haaland at the right price.

That's why we won't get him. The total cost will be ridiculously high, hence the rags being likely front runners.
Tbf none of us know how things will pan out, we're all just speculating on how we see it. My gut feeling is Haaland will be a rag next season: (
