It’s like we can only do a deal when it’s a release clause at a figure nobody else is willing to pay.

Haaland has a release clause that everyone is willing to pay, and agents fees that we will haggle over for 3 months as we are only £2m short and that is simply too big a gap to bridge as a matter of principle.

Being serious for a minute. I’ve said multiple times. Txiki gets along with Raiola. Since all options have failed and we’ve fallen behind in the market, a panic buy isn’t totally impossible. Or at least an inquiry. The options next summer won’t be much different than the ones we see now.
