Erling Haaland

It doesn’t make any sense for Dortmund to have agreed that. It’s possible but for a club like Dortmund unlikely I’d think.

Agree, it was one guess by one paper, which generally geta ripped into for being full of shit on here. Based on othing more than a realization that in January it will be 2 years so worth a punt. Makes no sense for Dortmund to agree to aclause that isnt after 2 full seasons. I doubt it is true.

That doesn't mean ha can't move in january. I don't think he will.

Just watched the highlights of the game today as didn’t get chance to watch it. We would have been 4 up by half time with Haaland up front… just saying. Signing this guy is a no brainer.

I’m not saying we don’t need Haaland, but he wouldn’t have been on the left wing for the Foden chance, or coming into the box late for the De Bruyne header.

We battered them first half Haaland would have had a hatrick with the number of chances we had. Forget rerunning the play with him in the team we would have scored first and gone on to at least 2 more in that half and they wouldn’t have come back from that.

If Haaland has any nous he will have watched our last three games and seen somewhere where he could become an absolute legend because he is the missing piece. That has to be more attractive as a sporting opportunity than going to the highest bidder. Plus he gets to play with Phil - what more could anyone want?

How good we’ve played this week and the chances we create just imagine him up front it would be frightening. Teams would be beaten in the tunnel

His agent is apparently asking for £800 a week and probably a big chunk for himself , the fee will be £70m next summer , over 6 years an investment of around £300m , or £50m a year. As long as it doesnt upset other players those figures are not beyond our finances and wouldnt cause a problem with FFP.
Even if he plays for three seasons , if he is succesful and meets his potential he would be worth £150m-200m , if Dortmund agree to £100m in January , let's get the deal done , they are mad figures but modern day football is f*cking barmy.

£800 a week sounds fine to me.

Wages can be 800k a week max if you put in the deal that if the team win if you score you will get 800k a week if we don’t win and he scores it 400k if he don’t score we draw he gets 350k

His agent is supposed to want 800K pw for himself not Haarland move on if true there must be something in it for us to go for Kane and Chelsea to go for a lump of kaki

800 quid a week, outrageous , keep well clear

It’s amazing what people will believe. Look at where these “leaks” are coming from and think about who wants them out and why...

Both us and Chelsea approached Dortmund and heard they would not be flexible in the fee they would want, which is what stopped us. We didn’t want to pay north of 180M. In the last days of the window, there was talk of PSG willing to pay something like 200M if Mbappe were to go and their CEO said something like “we’re not a bank”, meaning it wasn’t just transactional.
