One can hope, but that claim is as much pure guesswork, on currently seemingly obvious sense, as any other.

I personally doubt we'll go in for anyone in January. Based on nothing but a feeling.
Totally agree and I don't believe we will even be in for him, in fact the rags have more chance of winning the title than we have of signing Alf.

Looks like we are going in for Dusan Vlahovic, right price, age and fits the type of player profile we bring to the club.

It's not that I don't think we will be i for him, I just don't think we will be in for anyone in January.

Vlahovic is a similar price to Haaland now in terms of a transfer fee. Ok much lower wages probably, and almost certainly lower agent fees, but lower goal numbers and profile too. I hipe we are looking at both, with Haaland as 'first choice'. I just don't see it in January thats all, butnwould be delighted to be wrong.

I do think the kane train should be gone and well out of sight now though.

Be interesting to see what Haaland does next season . If it's a purely football decision then we are ahead of everyone else, if money is the driving force then we are not. I personally don't believe all these outlandish wage demands etc, and I wouldn't be surprised if behind the scenes a deal is already in place and has been for awhile with us .

The only chance of Haaland in January is if he does want to join us.

And if he does I could see the club paying a premium to Dortmund to get the deal done quickly, but how much Dortmund have in the say of things is a big question, Riola seems to have all the power and the final word.

You need a detox on this notion that Raiola is calling all the shots. Especially with Alfie in the picture, he’s an advisor

I would love to believe you, but the man Riola does not get involved for the fun of it.

IF, Haaland wanted to come to us, I am sure it would have happened in the last window.

Agree with the first bit ,but he was never moving in the last window, and unless the buy out stories for January are true, he won;t move before next summer. Raiola must be influencing something as you say he doesn't involve himself for nothing, on the other hand he can only influence what Haaland allows him to.

Uh, no doubt Raiola will get his share. I am talking about the decision-making.

It has been reported that both us and Chelsea approached Dortmund and saw that for it to have happened last summer, they would have asked for an outrageous fee. It didn’t make sense to do it considering the clause kicks in six months (even earlier than Mbappe’s/Madrid situation). A 100 million difference isn’t a “detail”.

I still don't understand why the Haaland family want Riola anywhere near them.

Alf always struck me as a decent and intelligent bloke, surely he knows enough about the game to advise his son and keep all the financials in the family.

Raiola won't let his pay day go cheap. There's a reason why Haaland didn't leave BD in the summer.

Raiola will make a ton of money next summer. Barca will get some help, Madrid will get another 20 billion for selling a car parking space, PSG will have the money, Chelsea will be as keen and United and Liverpool may have a say....Although I doubt it, but United would sleep with Raiola to get it over the line.

Whatever happens Raiola will be much wealthier come next August.

Raiola is a fantastic promoter and always makes his client seem like the talk of the transfer window. He adds millions on to any players value and always takes his cut.

Just like every other agent. They all get a cut and if the client is a superstar, that cut is going to be appropriate.
Are people aware that we’re one of the clubs that pay the most in agent fees around Europe? Or do people not want to acknowledge that?

He'll probably get Haaland 3-4 huge moves over his career, worth big,big money.
The man is a ****,but he's very good at what he does.
