They both also follow leeds & forest. I think Alfie has a soft spot for all the clubs he was at, lucky we're the only ones loaded. :) I can see him 4-5 years and then move as well.
 
Getting Haaland would move us so far in front of the chasing pack it would be unreal, we'd lap the rags we'd be that far in front. I dont think a potential transfer has ever made more sense for City, we need a World class 9, and Haaland looks like he will be the dominant 9 over the next decade, its not a gamble in the slightest for me, the same way as getting the best manager in the World was never a gamble. Get it done City.

We are lucky because if Leeds had the money that would be his destination 100 percent . J have always stated that we won’t go for haaland but it’s looks like we could have a real to at getting him because when you think about it Madrid will more than likely get mbappe Barca have fuck all Chelsea need to move Werner on which the. Means Werner to Bayern which will then rule them out Liverpool realistically don’t need haaland as they have no problems with there forward line and Man Utd having signed Ronaldo will not get haaland because they will never drop Ronaldo and haaland will not sit on the bench either which leaves just us and PSG and then Newcastle come in and blitz both of us .

Messi already won the champions league at that age and won his first Ballon d Or at 22 yo hard for Haaland do to that but overall I agree. Haaland is definitely a future Ballon D Or winner , the only question is what team will have him when he wins it.
I think we need to compromise on this transfer if needed , go beyond our limits when comes to transfers as it is one in a decade type of transfer imo. Pay his agent , his dad so on, whatever needs to be done. I have no doubt that he would be interested in joining us, and that we will get whatever money is invested in this transfer back.
 
Every few years the fan theory/rumour that a sportswear giant helps with a transfer rears it's head.

Has that every happened?

I doubt Puma have any say or any reason why a player would move to another club.

I also doubt these recent rumours. Seems more like an obvious link that anyone could write that some obscure journalist and City news aggregator is using for clicks.

Real wants Haaland and Mbappe so they will be competition. But he should prefer us over them as at Real he would be there with Mbappe , Benzema, Vinicius Jr ..pretty crowded up front.

Psg will go for him especially if they lose Mbappe they will offer whatever money needed , I just hope he doesnt want to end up in another shit league and instead will prefer to join us in the PL, i'm sure he wishes to play in the PL one day.

Liverpool might make a bid too , Firminho isn't the best scorer out there , getting Haaland would take them to another level. Just hope they dont have the money to get him.

Manure attack ia too crowded plus they havent won trophies in how long ?

Overall I think we wpuld be the best option for him as we need a player like him , we create a lot of chances that he can score from , we win trophies , he'd play in the PL .. he would be the perfect set up for him to achieve greatness. The only thing that could mess up this transfer would be the money asked for him and our unwillingness to compromise when comes to transfers.

£1m/wk is surely beyond our budget? Besides upsetting other high profile players, it just seems absurd! I know nothing of the financials of the club, but that seems to be about 3x too high for a player of his age etc. £300k I could understand and even the other fees seem attainable. All in all, I would love for us to get this one done, I’m just not confident we will and I suspect we’ll steer well clear once the PSG’s and Real’s et al figures are known.

If this were to come off it would be an incredible insurance against potential downturn once Pep leaves
