Erling Haaland

Question and Im not trying to be controversial here, just interested in the thoughts of others . Consider the sort of football we play and how magnificent we can be without a number 9. (Is Haaland the answer?) (My Slight) worry arises from the amount of games we have been seeing lately where teams just play banks of 5 and 4 with 1 up front. I can understand people saying watching City is boring, (WAIT !) not City's fault at all! its because these teams are just sitting deeper and deeper and stifling our creativity. Bit of background, when i played (centre half) I loved a big striker to mark and when there wasnt one and it was a nippy (turn on a sixpence type of)forward i got moved about all over the place which I hated. Which is where I believe our success, sans BLUF type of striker stems from. So the question is... Would / will a 6ft 3in centre forward be as prolific, as he currently is, with the way most teams play against us.??
Haaland is much more than a broken nosed, cauliflower eared big lump up front. He offers us another attacking dimension, something we only have with the young & inexperienced Delap.

Whether teams defend deep or come at us, currently we only have one way to approach our games. Sometimes when Pep has got creative, it's caused us more problems than the opposition. Haaland will give us options without having to tear up our possession based attacking philosophy.

Add to the fact that Julian Alvarez will hopefully arrive in July & the age of him & Haaland, if they both hit the ground running & turn out to be the players we need, we'll be set for the next decade.

Alvarez is the smaller nippy striker type you hated playing against. We've mastered the false 9, now look at the options we'll gain with these two?? \0/

"Next few weeks"? The transfer window will be officially open in 10 weeks, so that could mean anything...
Didn’t you just read the Madrid media say that club has SIGNED (not “signed”… SIGNED) Mbappe? Outside the transfer window… lol

Players can sign a pre contract agreement outside of the transfer window but Mbappe won't officially become a Madrid player until 1st July.

Just like us with Haaland. We could pay Dortmund 63M today and he could sign all the papers but he wouldn't become a City Player until 1st July

All summer that Ahsan geezer from the 93:20 podcast pushed false propaganda about how Kane was destined to sign for Citeh and how it would go down as the greatest transfer in PL history. Kept going on like some big top shot itk, how his links have told him Kane is 100% signing only to be slapped right in da face. Overnight multiple reports link Harland to Citeh and the dude has been as quite as a Church mouse, no words, no tweets. Wonder if he's Ok or secretly dreading Harland in a sky blue shirt. Someone please check up on da brudda??!!
Ahsan is Billyshears

Madrid trying to get their good news in first, before anything official on Haaland. Won't be long now ...

Can you imagine the furore in Spain if Haaland was announced first?
