Erling Haaland

I've honestly never heard a negative word said about Haaland until this past week. He's always been talked about along with Mbappe as one of the two hottest properties and prospects in world football.

Suddenly he's going to have an injury ravaged career, and his massive ego will mean he will fall out with Pep at every turn. He's also a selfish player and won't fit our system at all. He's never had to deal with world class defenders like Harry Maguire and Phil Jones so will find it a lot harder to score in the Premier League than in Germany.

Surely there can't be any more doubt the deal is done!

I did used to wonder if the square-peg/round-hole thing could be an issue, in all honesty.

But then I remember that somehow Kyle Walker is arguably the most important player in a Pep Guardiola team.

So I think Haaland would work.

I thought the same originally - he's hardly slick in build-up in the same way others are but then neither is Sterling and look at his output under Pep.

Simply put...we create shitloads of chances and Haaland buries chances at an alarmingly good rate so it's a match made in heaven!

He ,can sign a piece of paper that is meaningless, until it is officially registered , once the the transfer window is opened .
No he can sign a binding contract with the club , which is far from meaningless, he can train, he can work with any medical and physio staff. The only thing he can’t do until the registration (not transfer) window opens is play.
