Given the guy's position at Dortmund (Player’s licence Director) it will definitely be the former.

Now he will probably also know the destination by then too, if not already, but whether he says or not is another thing.

Nah, everyone knows he’s already gone, they’ve said that before. It’ll be saying the clause has been activated so they can announce it to stock market and get on with making signings.

But that’s just formally announcing what people have speculated on. That is his job. The fact that the World strongly suspects he is leaving doesn’t mean he doesn’t have to ratify it particularly, as you say, to the Stock Exchange If the release clause has been met.

Im not as certain he is expected to announce his destination….that might be a personal decision which would also be dependent on if the release clause has been met.

I think it’s just an announcement that Saturday will be his last match playing for BVB because he’s leaving Dortmund. Until the release clause is paid, Dortmund can’t say where he’s going. I don’t think the release clause has been paid or will get paid before the end of our season.
