ESPN writer: Mancini is not the man to deliver City's dreams

People turned their noses up at the time but Scott Parker would still be doing a decent job for us in that role had we bought him when we were after him.

Sorry to speak the bleeding obvious (and I am not a Mancini outer) but didn't Milner play the box to box role last season?

If we got parker - we would no doubt put him on the wing.

Maybe Milner will play it once Balo is playing in the front 3?

You know what, I need to ease up on the caffeine.

I'd actually completely forgotten about Milner. Correct, he is a box to box midfielder without the lung capacity of a flea who could do that job given the chance.

I need a lie down. Full and frank apologies all round.

To be honest only people of fairly low intelligence tend to make this point.

That you are supposed to somehow be "behind" your club on an internet forum.

Did you read the rest of my post? You know, the bit you deleted.

And call me stupid all you want (which is so funny coming from the one that gets so upset by "childish" comments), we both know it is not the case and you have yet to answer Fergie sitting on his bench. As I knew you would as your original point about Mancini sitting down is beyond bullshit - as well you know.

Shows you what I know; always had Milner down for a winger!

Even though he didn't play there at Villa? You had some foresight!
I didn't have sarcastic font on mate; just admitting my lack of knowledge (I'm probably one of the very few on here who owns up to their mistakes!)

. Get him in that centre mid role then Bobby!

I dont know what Fergie did at Villa nor do I care, to be honest.

I know what Mancini did against Brum and he sat down and gave up. Unforgiveable.

Just out of interest, the fella may have sat down but what's the evidence to say 'he gave up'?

On what basis are you telling he gave up? If you are basing that just on his sitting down , i have no words to describe how pathetic you are.

This place would be less gloomy if our manager got his team to play some football.
You claim to want to give the manager two whole seasons before judging him , yet you constantly slag him off.How does that work?
It works in the same way I used to slag Stuart Pearce off but recognise that he had to be given time. Ultimately I was right about Pearce but there are still some people on here who think he was a decent manager or would have been given more time and money. He wasn't and never will be.

Mancini certainly isn't Pearce but he needs a couple of seasons to perfect his squad and style. That's a completely different issue from my opinion on what i think he's trying to do and the way he's going about it or whether we'll be any better after those two years. I reconcile the two positions very easily. It's up to him to prove me right or wrong.

Fair enough.

I'm not sure he has to prove anything to you does he? I think he'd be more concerned about Mssrs Cook, Kaldhoun and Marwood.

The tactics he employed that day for a start! Some clueless clowns can come on here after not watching the game and say "but but but we had 999 shots" but most of them were shots from 20 yards outside the area that mostly ended up near the corner flag. The whole ethos of the team that day was not to lose. And, well done Mancini, we didnt. That's what 200m gets you sheik, a no losing team!
