Ethiopian airline crash

How the fuck can that happen are these planes not fitted with warning systems and so forth, not that I’m any sort of expert on planes just find it strange..
Me neither mate but it was almost a brand new plane acording to reports? so youd’ve expected it to have all the latest tech available? very strange

Modern aircraft have a stall warning system which instructs the pilot to push the nose down. But there have been several instances of pilots, disorientated in some way, ignoring the warning.

This one has a new system to prevent stalls, and has gone down in similar looking circumstances to the Indonesian one. The crew would be used to older 737's, but perhaps not so familiar with the new system.

I should imagine boeing are concerned.

Has to be question marks over the 737 max - two almost new aircraft crash - really unusual, given modern safety records.

Cheers for the reply, shocking loss of life definitely wouldn’t want to be flying in any of those planes at the moment...

Not disabling the anti stall warning ? MCAS (Maneuvering Characteristics Augmentation System) and an unfamiliarity with the tech .. Interesting short watch on these two videos.
