Etihad Atmosphere - 2021/22

There's some truth in that. Maybe we should stop rising to it but I think in most cases fans are just trying to correct mistruths. However, even when you present fact-based evidence to disprove their shitty arguments they often don't listen. I can kind of accept the jibes from United fans - well the match-going ones - as it's all part of the banter and we've been doing it to each other for decades. Them with their "Massive Club" song and us with the "No fans from Manchester", but we're now getting shit from fans of clubs who can only dream of getting the attendances we get. Villa fans in particular are rapidly taking over the mantle as the biggest dickhead fanbase around. And it's not just jibes about attendances and empty seats either. They were utter bellends at the League Cup final, so much so that one grown man punched a 9 year old City fan ffs. I've always felt that the 2 sets of fans got on ok and Villa away is one of my favourite away games as you can usually go on the lash there and not encounter much trouble, but it seems that has now gone out of the window.
You answered your own point there. The most important line in your post is that when you present them with the facts they don’t listen.

Why do you think that is? It’s because they don’t care about the truth. Do we care when we say United have no fans in Manchester and they dispute it?

It doesn’t matter.

Totally correct.

Comparing Mancini the manager to Pep is insulting, Pep is night and day a better manager/coach.

But Mancini understood the club and the fans so much better than Pep, Roberto would never belittle the fan base and support, I simply don't get why Pep keeps doing so, it simply weird.

Pep is a Barca man, yet there is a club with a history of poor support in all but the big matches, yet I never seem to hear him questioning their support .

I honestly don't think he is doing it on purpose.

The media know he isn't the best when it comes to listening/speaking in English.

He had an open borders top on most of last season ffs.

I wont insult you via my keyboard even though I could do.

He paid the charity/organisation to wear it, that’s not virtue signalling that’s standing by his beliefs as he did with the Catalan independence yellow ribbon. Do you think people who wear Macmillan nurse badges or men’s prostate cancer awareness symbols on TV to be virtue signalling as well?
