Fuck off!! CB stand.

Even Spurs and Newcastle have a fans trust groups. Like you say it's just not our mentality. We're a fan base that doesn't take things too seriously and not as organized as some other clubs.
You do make a good point. Smaller clubs have fans trust groups. It’s easy for me to say, but I do think we need something

the official supporters club should/ could be that

Simple, if you don't attend at least 15 PL games in a season you are added back to the waiting list for a season ticket.
I agree in principle although 15 seems a bit high. But then you always get people with extenuating circumstances - what do you do with the guy who had to move away for a 6 mth work contract, the guy whose wife gets seriously ill etc etc. Once you go down this path you open a Pandora’s box

i dont think some of the named fans trust / supporters clubs quite have the say they believe they have. I would take with a pinch of salt what a supporters club has actually done. Also if a club has special ticket prices and reductions for families, they will always say "we listen to our fans", this is good publicity. When really it was a plan going ahead anyhow.

While we hear a lot about spirit of shankly or the MUFCgroup, this is mainly down to sky or bbc or what ever media it is just talking about them to create awareness of the club and get more people signed up. Hard to explain but its a similar thing to if city win away at Bayern 3 nil in the UCL QTR final, day after sky sports headline reads " Salah is worth £200m ". They will make any excuse to talk about the other 2, even if it means chucking in fans views.

If 100 people hold a scarf up in the kop end this is because they are the best fans in the world, the tv camera is right on it. If at city a 15m gold ship is walked through 5,000 blue waved flags, they would rather have a camera showing empty seats.

The current rule is you have to attend 10 matches. If you don’t attend 10, then you have to list the difference on the seat exchange. So if you attend 6 then you need to list a minimum of 4 on the exchange. The problem is they then go on sale at full whack and most of the time single seats on sale at £50+ don’t even get a nibble, so the seats remain empty. If the match day tickets were more realistic then season ticket holders who do only attend a hand full of games would be more inclined to surrender them and buy on a match by match basis, and the people who keep their season tickets would have a better chance of selling them on the exchange if less of them were being listed at £30 rather than 100’s or even 1000’s listed at £50.

The simple way around it is to class a ticket as attended if it was listed on the exchange, regardless of whether it's sold or not or if it was transferred and used.

Spot on, when liverpool get a good atmosphere at a euro night game which in reality only happens now & again the media are all over it, european royalty, special nights at anfield, best fans in the world etc, when city get a good atmosphere at a euro night game which also only happens now and again but probably just as much as liverpool it is completly ignored by the media who are to busy getting in little digs about ground being not quite full or people leaving early,
Rinse and repeat for year after year & all the armchair fans think citys crowds are quiet & the grounds never full & liverpools always packed out & the atmosphere is always amazing.

So many things the club can do to improve the atmosphere but I don't think they care tbh could tell that when they stuck an hospitality section bang in the middle of the south stand

very true, we can have some of the best team welcomes in the whole of the UCL games but the tv dont acknowledge anywhere near the amount they do at anfields same old show. The media always have their favourites, liverpool clearly top of that list
