Yes "City, City, the best team in the land and all the world" doesn't quite have the same ring as, "You're gonna get your fucking head kicked in!" "it's time for you to run, it's time for you to run, it's time for you to run, so fuck off!" "You're going home in a fucking ambulance!" "You'll never make the station!" Especially for Spurs, "He's only a poor little cockney, his face is all battered and torn!"

Ha ha! We have become too nice. I'm not advocating a return to violence but verbally we need to make our ground a bear pit of noise for the opposition. Remember Hamburg? Their manager actually said the atmosphere took them by surprise and knocked them out of their stride.
