Etihad Atmosphere - 2021/22

Noticed we were back to the standard mass exodus after everybody suddenly decided they didn't need to leave early for the Derby.

Thought I had fallen asleep and was having one of my worst nightmares where I'd been taken to an Olly murs concert.
Left early for the first time this season.
It was never going to be a classic but never expected to be as bored as I was watching a game.
In my 3rd tier seat in the South Stand I was surprised at the gusty wind when I got outside.
Might have something to do with the quality of the match.
The drummer for them was shite as well.No rhythm at all.

I stayed to the end but I would have got home an hour and a half earlier if I’d have left the match on 80 minutes. In that last 10 mins, I got in a row with 3 Portugueses who were singing in the City end and saw Raheem’s last minute miss.

If people wish to leave early it’s up to them. It was good to see a 50k plus crowd for a midweek dead rubber and the atmosphere was better than some Premier League games.

Cant blame people for leaving early, even I was thinking about get to the premier inn early lol. But thought sod it I'll stay till the end.
The atmosphere was ok for a dead rubber, the area around the away support seem to enjoy themselves.

Was never going to match Sundays !!

I have to say, personally I thought the majority of Sporting fans were brilliant (apart from the group at the front of the first tier who just wanted to fight and a couple of other idiots spread about). 5-0 down and sang the whole way through.
We were just to the right of them on the second tier, there was one fan in particular who kept waving a Chelsea scarf and kept shouting 'Champions of Europe, you'll never sing that' idiot.
Also, a couple of rows behind us were a group of Sporting fans in the home end. I guess this is what happens when it goes on general sale.
