Not much we can do about it though when tickets are sold out within a few hours of going to members. I’d have no doubt we’d have sold out to ‘proper’ blues but there were plenty who missed out.
I’d love to know what arrangements the club have with agencies tbh - assuming we go through as expected the scramble for semi final tickets for those not on the CL scheme will be manic.
100% mate, no way are they members. I think the club are happy for agencies to take tickets, knowing that tourists will buy them, spend loads of money and grow the “brand” by buying City shirts, posting on social media etc.I could be wrong, but I’d have thought a lot of the people attending last night aren’t members. So that means people are getting large amounts of tickets from agencies and ticket websites. The club will no doubt be involved in that.

I’ve watched the goals back today and noticed on Rodri’s celebration and knee slide in front of CBL1 there’s a chunk of a few dozen fans who are stood there with no emotion on their faces, they aren’t cheering nor even clapping. Definitely tourists there.
The lad next to me last night was a Mancunian Chinese lad and his mate was a few rows in front. They were both getting behind us, weren’t tourists/day trippers but local Blues.
Agree, it was a good night atmosphere wise, and I was in NS2. As for Bayern's display - I spent most of the walk back to town afterwards explaining to my youngest what 'choreographed', 'lacking spontaneity' and 'robotic' mean!Thought it was great and just natural. Not a fan of these rhythmic chants from the German away fans. Our support was great on a freezing cold night.
Don’t knock the tourists, they take up seats when season ticket holders can’t afford to go.
