Etihad atmosphere

Problem is the more you lower the price the more the wealthy people think "I can buy one at the price even if I only go the big games". Too many empty seats up there as it is, even though they are all sold for the season. I'm in 316 at the back, empty seats all around, and those that are in cant even stand up for "stand up if you love City".

I really do think it's time to drastically drop prices but a minimum attendance rule needs to come in. If you miss x amount of games then your ticket gets sold for the derby.

£200 season tickets but you need to be there for a certain percentage or you're at risk of missing bigger games. That's the only way of making it work.

ST's would have to be monitored then , they do it at OT.

Imagine the South stand, all standing at £200 for a S/T (£100 for U-21). It would just be a wall of noise.

The club are out of touch with a large slice of our support, price is everything to thousands of fans who can't afford a ST.It annoys me that they haven't done anything groundbreaking .

They want atmosphere then do something about it-instead of fucking glass tunnels for the rich .

Bang on mate , they do it over the road , nowt wrong with it if you want a full stadium.

And another thing the 1894 group are bloody superb, flags look great up in the 3rd tier.

The club should be funding them- they shouldn't have to have wip rounds for banners, they are so out of touch it's frightening.

bollocks, as someone who has been in 111 for 5 years there have been a lot of lads who have left, i assume to the 3rd tier. it's noticeably shitter this year but a good fuckin laugh when the atmosphere is good and the away fans are giving it back

i never said people hadnt left !. just that most hadnt moved to 115, if i didn't make that clear my bad. there are still groups of lads in 111. they sing when theres a bit of fighting i.e. the celtic game, but most of the time its complete silence. you shouldnt need away fans to be able to sing. I've been in both sections a fair few times this season and at least in 115 there are actually pro city songs, rather then just you've had you day out now fuck off home....... the banters great, but not when its just banter and barely any singing. a few years agoi think against juve 110/111 were singing oh when the blues non stop all game, whens the last time that happened in there ?

Re-organisation of singers, lower price tickets, safe standing are all great but at the end of the day there is still no guarantees it will improve atmosphere.

People just need to take responsibility for the poor atmosphere and sing instead of clutching at straws and waiting to be entertained.

And if you don't join in, then don't moan about it.

Sadly this is very true. We have a manager complaining about home support but the club with all there wealth are happy to let those fans that are trying to improve the situation scratch around for funds.
I wonder if the problem is that the corporates running the club are not long term fans and have no conection with and do not understand the fan base. They seem to be doing things that continually piss fans off, I have lost count of the number of posters who have said they are considering binning off their season cards next season. This is unbelievable and happening when we have one of the worlds top managers, a good team and are in one of the most periods in our entire history. Something is wrong somewhere but the club do not seem arsed.

It could well be a good idea for the top manager to show just a little bit of respect to the supporters who have spent a fortune over their lifetime supporting the club he had probably never heard of, instead of criticising what he sees as their lack of vocal support. That would be a really good start. Maybe even a word of thanks.
