Etihad atmosphere

The atmosphere was ok yesterday granted, but it shows how poor it has become when some are saying it was excellent. 5 minutes to go and we were pushing for a winner in a great game and the crowd were almost silent.

I don't think there is an answer for it, all the top clubs suffer the same at home and there clearly isn't an easy solution.

SS3 was the best its been all season yesterday.

A full away block and an afternoon drinking probably helped along with no showsec wankers sucking the energy out of the crowd.

Absolutely was rocking up in SS3 don't think Showsec would have survived trying to get into 314, never mind trying to kick someone out or asking them to sit down.

More of the same please to all the other blocks up there. It shows we can get an atmosphere in the cheap seats.

Just how it should be. I've not seen the whole of 314 stand for ages, only parts of it. They wouldn't have been able to do a thing yesterday. And everyone seemed up for it as well, same again in a few weeks!

Hope everyone's up for it again, it does tend to regularly be half of 314 and then the back of the next couple of blocks. Does show though that we can produce an atmosphere. Just hope enough people enjoyed it so we can re-create it again.

The atmosphere was shit where I was. The tourists didn't sing, cheer or make any noise. There were empty seats - I'm assuming for part of a group that didn't show. They weren't for sale when I was looking for a seat.

I like my usual seat. I am surrounded by other blue season ticket holders who get behind the team. Why should I give it up and stop going?

It's the tourist that are part of the problem.

Well, sharing a toilet cubicle with a Tourist while the match is on is never going to generate the best atmosphere. ;-)

On a serious note, the atmosphere was very good. It went quiet at the end because we conceded 2 goals, and may have conceded a 3rd.

When that happens fans go nervous and quiet.

Guess it depends where you sit mate, it was rocking in 107...we even started a few chants and that rarely happens

it was a good atmosphere yesterday.

We have now got 30 fans ( yes managed 30 ) in block 115 bunched up for the Monaco game at home. We have been offered another 20 all bunched up together would be good if some of the fans that sang for this game would relocate and help get it going for Monaco game.

Shows that the players also have to contribute to build an atmosphere, was rocking second half.

To be fair to the players I think they have contributed quite a bit over the past 6 years - but I don't think you could say we have had the ground "rocking" too often in that period
