Etihad atmosphere

I don't get all this nonsense about 'atmosphere' as pretty much all the modern PL stadium lack atmosphere as the game has now been watered down and more families go.

I'm afraid the last time I went to a game that had a good atmosphere at any stadium it was about 1989.

Times have just changed get over it.
As recently as the "Poznań years" (2010-12) we had a good atmosphere at the Etihad. We were getting behind the team to win, we were Poznańing to goals, we were amazing at Wembley in the semi and final in 2011, we were amazing in the home 1-0 Kompany header derby...

We bought we could be better then but we've got worse.

Now we stand and wait the team to get us going, and it's not just at home, we're flat, we're flat away from home too, we were flat at Wembley against Wigan and first half against Sunderland and against Liverpool, we've been flat in derbies, we were flat for the CL quarters and semis, we were flat for the best manager in the world's first game in charge...

We do seem to Flat(ter) to deceive these days.................

Watching the Arsenal game and at Bournemouth earlier, the atmosphere in both games is just the same as ours. Fans are now a different breed to 20 years ago. I was out with Wales in France and the siege mentality makes the fans louder, we are spoilt at City now, we expect to win most games. I really enjoyed our fans appreciation of the type of football we were trying to play yesterday, sometimes you just have to sit back and enjoy what they are doing.

Jimmy do you seriously believe City wouldn't cheer a penalty or a goal?

Oh look a penalty...............ahh well...wake me up after he's missed

It seemed quieter than usual thats all im saying/asking. One of my favorites parts of English football is how animated the crowd is compared to some american sports. Just dont want to see real fans being priced out of stadiums in England as well

Getting rid of Mancini killed the atmosphere!
