Finally a bit of noise and would you Adam and Eve it the team were bang up for it. I'll say it time and time again, the players feed off the crowd. Loved Zaba giving the fans the gee up near the end of the first half as well as if to say "come on, give us even more". Bravo to all in the ground tonight.
 
Best European atmosphere we've had that I've ever been to (my Father said to me one day, haha, that the best he's heard was the Shalke semi final in '70

Spot on!

It's difficult getting the shy up for it (you'd be surprised how many people feel funny about singing at the footy as mad as that sounds) and most of the time people wait to be entertained before they make any noise.

But when everyone's at it, the players certainly feed off it and that's what happened tonight.

And not a drum in sight. Just a Traditional English Atmosphere (home for TEA!)
 
In 115 tonight, I'm a cup scheme defector.
Bought my ticket through my supporter number when city released extra tickets last Wednesday.
Surrounded by dozens of day trippers in fact hard to spot a City fan!

It would get rid of so many of the sly comments from commentators we get about home games if people were ready before kickoff... in fact it could be one of the things affecting the atmosphere because at most grounds it builds in the run up to kickoff(there's nothing to do but sing some songs and chants).

Smoking ban.
If I know that once inside the ground in can't have a smoke for 2 hours then I will leave it to the last minutes before entering the ground, having a pint elsewhere

Great atmosphere at the start.
Went a bit flat after the Barca goal.
2nd half was immense.
Every song got aired.
Up there and better than Hamburg.
Plenty of tourists, who also joined in.
WELL DONE THE TEAM AND THE FANS!
