Grounds gunna look amazing when finished I can't wait :)

The design of the present stadium is good but it was let down by a tight budget that led to aggressive cost cutting. The result was the stadium wasn't finished to a high standard - the outside looks austere, the concourse isn't finished to a high standard etc. I think we will find the finish to the south stand will be on a much higher level and will set standards that will be replicated around the ground. Decent cladding and lighting etc. will present a wholly different look.

I know what you mean but wouldn't say it was comparatively true.

All the things you listed are still superior to every British stadium apart from Wembley and the Emirates. Even the Nou Camp based on my recent visit and definitely miles beyond what Old Trafford has to offer.

that's fantastic.
i drive past the etihad every day (it's on the way to work, it's not the actions of an obsessive on a pilgrimage) and can see the changes on a daily basis. i hadn't seen the plans for the exterior of the building properly previously and while i love the shape of the stadium roof at present, the new area looks differnt class althogether.

Hi all. Have never had the chance to get a season ticket as always lived far away from the city. Im now living and mortgage hunting in sale - are there still pre book places for the new seats 2015/16 season?

You can still get yourself on the waiting list though with re locators and the current list said to be 7k plus you might be borderline.

Best thing to do would be to put themselves on the waiting list - personally I think they'll get one at a price. Some of those on the list might only be interested in the £299 seats and it will depend on whether the club allow existing sc holders to have first option on the new seats which would free up dearer seats elsewhere. Would ALL those waiting want the £700 places? I think not.

At the very least they'd be in a good position for the North Stand extension phase.

"Errrr their owners will get bored soon and move on to their next toy...."

Does anyone know when this is happening? It's getting all a bit boring now.

Notice posted in the MEN today. There going to close Ashton New Road between Grey Mare Lane and Rowesley St (Ground Main Entrance) on 12th July for the whole day for Crane Operations Work. Sounds like a big Crane is on its way. So we should see the steelworks going up. Hopefully within a week.
