Re: Etihad Campus, Stadium Development and Collar Site (cont

Hi all. Ive just got back from the stadium tour that me and my son attended on Sunday 20th July. I took a few photos of the inside of the ground. ive gone back a few pages here and i couldnt see any recent photos of the inside of the stadium, so id like to share a few of mine if you dont mind. They arent great but may show the progress inside the ground.

my wife and i did the tour around 3 years ago and ive got to say, the tour has come on leaps and bounds. my son loved it. and we walked around for 90 mins with beaming smiles. the tour guide was excellent too. And we now have a nice little collection of trophies growing in our trophy cabinet!! And the room where they are showing the campus was amazing. Its going to be amazing, we know it as City fans, but i dont think the rest of the world understands the true scale of it and what it will achieve in years to come!

The programme is slightly behind I am told. A critical date to install the crash deck which would enable significantly more steel to be installed prior to the season was not met and so they are just concentrating on two core areas. The crane was made specifically for this job by the way.

A challenging job to say the least.

That's worrying. Don't we need the crash deck in place to enable work to go ahead over the turnstile areas during the season?
Anybody know anymore?

I hear they are miles behind over at the new training ground and the first team might not move in there this season.

It is mate yes, but the season will be well underway and Pellegrini won't change the routines if we get off to a good start.

The bridge appears to be a natural graffiti board, has this been addressed?

Covered in the planning application apparently 24/7 CCTV by the CFA security team and an anti graffiti finish on the structure

The programme of works for the training complex was very tight to say the least
