I assume the pitch-side work is being done pre-season, and we'll bury the newly created terrace and pitch-side by the start of the season it will look normal.
With you saying terrace do you reckon flat then as opposed to raked ? Just wandering as we are row f and thinking will our view alter ?

rake of any existing seats is not changing - there squeezing three more rows in front and according to the plans from these you'll still be able to see across the pitch - and no, the pitch is not being lowered

just drove past stadium - temporary yellow crane is fully extended way higher than the 'big' crane and hanging from it is the jib of the big crane and is just about in place - sorry no pictures, I was driving and not in my car so no in-car footage either :-(

I've had a look at the wider South Stand photo I got and there are fat more 'new' pieces of metalwork propping the old roof in place than I thought - there are four more much larger propping frames in place running two thirds of the way across

you can see the top of the crane from the Belle Vue side of Pottery Lane well before you go under the railway bridge

Never thought I'd ever see the day we needed to expand the Etihad? Not in my wildest dreams. Truly exciting times.

How the hell can you fit 3 more rows at the front looking at that picture? You'll be sat in a trench!
