Probably not the best time to mention this, but I did a quick update yesterday Morning. Pictures showing the new cladding, windows, and roof almost complete. Will post them later on today. Hopefully it will lift the mood a little, after a poor week on the pitch. :-(

ps. For some reason we always seem to get beat when I do my picture updates. Note to oneself: No more picture updates for the rest of the season. ;-)

Best time, as this is the only thread I will be in for a few days.

As shown from the previous picture(not mine), cladding and windows are now being added to the exterior of the stand. The fitting of the roof beams looks to have been completed.

Note the construction worker on picture 10.(numbers bottom right) Shows how big the stand is, internally and externally.

It looks to me that it is going to be a pain to connect the new roof to the old as the angles of both of them seem to be going at different angles

Brilliant photos once again, thanks for posting.

It does look absolutely huge when you consider the tier below ground level and size of the side stands. Going to feel pretty high up in that third tier, a bit of St James' Park about it. The cladding will give it such a "facelift" and the angle of the new roof looks like it will filter noise towards the pitch and players and help to give things a boost in that regard.

Here's a tweet sent in the last hour by the club. Its not the first time.

They seem certain that expansion works to 62k are a done deal. ;-)
