Will this end not be complete in time for the rugby world cup?

surely they wouldn't have picked the Etihad to be a host stadium knowing there was going to be works going on around the ground!!

We only host one match and that is on the 10th October iirc.

The end and pitchside seats will be ready for the start of the 2015/16 season.
You will probably find that they will play a pre-season game at home to get the safety certificate for it,like they did when the club first took over the stadium, after the commenwealth games.

The Etihad Cup or the CFG Cup? ;)

Whilst the lamp or bulb argument has its merits, surely these two posts are rather more fitting, and worthy of discussion in this thread ?

Please can someone tell me where this poll was that ended up the majority saying they wanted the away section to remain where it is?

Thanks in advance.

EDIT: it was mentioned in the second to last paragraph of the MEN article.

If I remember rightly there was a questionnaire with 3 options that was handed out when the portocabin exhibition for the expansion was open in city square.

Thank you.

If that was the only place the survey was provided it says a lot in my opinion. Always wanted to check out the plans inside the portacabin but always arrived too late from the pub and found it shut.

Obviously I am not criticising everyone who doesn't go pub before match and prefers the get their early, etc. But, as has been discussed countless times on here, the likes of drink helps people sing and generate atmosphere.

I cannot understand why anyone - let alone a majority - would want the aways fans section to remain where it is.

The first two weeks of September 2015 appear to be international break time - not sure when PL starts in August but maybe two games or three at most .

It's remaining where it is, but being halved in size. Obviously the rest of the away seats will be located in Level 3.

Means away fans are spread out - so less noisy, but still near enough to the vocal City fans to encourage an atmosphere.

Pretty much everyone in the singing areas wanted them to stay there.

Arh I get ya, many thanks.

Personally I'd fuck 'em off to level 3 Newcastle style so that they can all sit/stand together. But, if it the plans are to seperate them more for the benefit of home fans, fair do's.
