Can anyone explain what are the benefits for the new floodlight gantries than the old ones which were perhaps a better and more 'flush' fitting. Obviously not done on a whim, can anyone ahem shed some light on this?!
The upgrades to the lighting system are pretty far reaching and the whole set-up will offer better controllability as well as quality of light.

Ive often thought that the light was not that great at home, particularly noticeable on t.v. IMO,

As well as being an upgrading to,the lighting system the old lights were housed in separate pods that opened from the back and meant that any maintenance Had be done by accessing the the top of the roof moving from one unit to the next. Using the gantries mean accessing the lights is much easier As you can just move across the one walkway To service all the lights on each stand.

Will this have a noticeable effect on our performances on European nights..... I knew it was more than tactics hindering us.The upgrades to the lighting system are pretty far reaching and the whole set-up will offer better controllability as well as quality of light.
