I'm sorry but I must have missed something here... What the fuck has west ham got to do with anything we are doing to our stadium ?

In London their support is on a par with Tottingham. Arse and Chavski are ahead of them but not hugely.

This is not based on any data but merely my obseravtions of living in London for 20 years from 1985 to 2005 but I always thought that Spurs had the most fans in London - much bigger than Arsenal or Chelsea.

I'd say that the top 3 London clubs and possibly even United have more fans than West Ham in and around London. Whatever the case West Ham have plenty of fans to call upon, just like we do.

Sorry if this has been asked a few times in this thread.
Any ideas when the big screens are going in the corners of the South Stand?

All four clubs have big numbers outside Greater London in the Home Counties. I'm not suprised West Ham will be getting the crowds they will next season they have a vast catchment area and you can get your bottom dollar there will be plenty of neutral overseas fans snapping up the non season ticket places just to get some PL football in.

I was in London last week and had a tour. Real West Ham fans will despise it. I predict they won't be playing there in 10 years.

First feedback from West Ham fans is not great.

Looking at the photos from today's game. Dear god. What an horrendous stadium.

I'm not sure what is worse, the view from tier two or The cheapo scaffold style seating for the lower tier. Puts what we've done at our ground into perspective.

It really does. It's like they've settled for huge Gene Kelly type stands in order to get closer to the pitch. Ours was always designed to be a football stadium, that simply isn't.
