There's not doubt that the next phase of the ground development is imminent as Worsley and others have impeccable insight in that regard.

The wider developments seem to have stalled though, and those challenges are going to be far more difficult to overcome than the filling the extra seats.

I was lucky enough to get a tour around the CFA a while back and the quality of everything was incredible so when people talk about the poor finish and maintenance of the stadium it creates a confusing picture of where priorities lie.

I was blown away with the size and scale of the campus developments when I saw them a few years ago but now I wonder if the lack of infrastructure, and the sheer scope of what was in play back then has stumped ADUG. Have they bitten off more than they could chew?

I take it you mean the wider campus not just the ground CFA college and sports institute

What possibilities are there regarding improving transport? I think I have herd of new line going in from the train station to the ground

Could you say more about the plans more generally. How can they have plans when we keep hearing they do not yet have the partners in place

I go home via ASDA out to the ring road there is loads of empty land about but its perhaps a bit far from the ground would love some of it to get sorted

I have a few mate to be fair. I am ex Laing and know quite a few who have worked on it. Also have a mate at city build who do the fit out of the corporate and have been pretty much on and off on the stadium smaller projects for years. I know John stemp has a long term vision for the stadium and he has not failed to deliver so far.

I had to Google Jon Stemp as I couldn't recall the name and found an interesting piece from 2011. It's an interview with the man himself.

I'm hoping we get something like this, or the second tier idea. a stand where all the noise is and a stand with its own unique identity. if we do the same as the south stand extension i think it would be a really chance missed to have our own end for once.i keep seeing the idea of joining all the top tiers together and i just think we will end up with arsenals ground. aha

We missed the chance to do something special when it looked like this:

We could have had a one tier'd stand back then at that end but didn't do it.

Let's not miss the opportunity to do it again because unless we knock down the East Stand and get The Kippax back in the future, we won't get this opportunity again until we move grounds again in sixty years time.
