Hear, Hear.Ajax's ground is a good example of business retail and leisure from what I can remember
It's clear that ADUG are looking to expand the city centre so that the Etihad encompasses it and isn't out in the suburbs. I wouldn't say the city centre is shite but it's lacking attractions on the scale of Paris, London etc. We need a major tourist attraction.
As much as it's come on in recent years there's still lot's to do. The Northern Quarter could be fantastic. Strip the roads back to the old cobbles, pave the pavements in stone to give it that historic bohemian feel it craves. The council missed an opportunity to have the best restaurant quarter with the curry mile by not investing in it and should not make the same mistakes again.
Hear, Hear.
Really enjoyed the public transport access to the Amsterdam Arena and then to be presented with the facilities right outside the ground which were perfect for football supporters.
Has to be my favourite away destination even though we were spanked on the night.
Beautiful city, Manchester and the developers of Etihad Campus could learn a lot from Amsterdam bearing in mind they also have a tram infrastructure.
hopefully we could do with some pubs around the ground.
Fine if we had the capacity, but it's not working now if it was free it would just add to the problems. Caught the tram once after a game into town could have walked there and back two or three times while I was queueing. Not been to Holland or Germany but checking match tickets sounds chaotic, is just a free for all ?Our transport should be free for those with tickets for the match, like they do in other countries like Germany/Holland.
