Corner section fully in place this morning when i drove passed on the South West side.

Other corner will not be put up until the old roof has been taken down. They are leaving the gap there so that the big crane can build a smaller crane inside the stadium to dismantle the roof

Hope we sign some decent players because half the seats will be empty after that shambolic performance yesterday and the price increases, great timing sending out all the season ticket literature,only at City eh! As you can see still hurting But CTID.

If nothing else at least this part of the forum always cheers us up.
Another couple of days and everyone will be back onside ready for Sunday :)

A stadium thread is hardly the place to vent about the team and ticket prices. There are plenty of other threads for you to express your views on those issues.

Club needs to get rid of the LED boards on tier two, makes the stadium an eyesore.

I know this has been mentioned before but is the pitch being lowered in the close season? I'm asking as I've just been reading about the 'pitchside' seats.

I can't find it, too many posts and I only saw it the once. I'm sure someone will have it. In the meantime, this 3D image matches the diagram that I saw as part of the plans:

If the pitch gets lowered you wouldn't be able to see the ball being passed around on the deck due to the advertising boards.

Pitch not being lowered, there's a crane on it removing the old roof as soon as the season ends so there wouldn't be time to lower the pitch, it's a tight schedule as it is BTW if it was the area that the boards sit on would have to be lowered

Won't the boards come back to the seat railings ?

No the image is correct the ball boys and stewards sit between the boards and the seat rails

Would have to be much earlier as they can't even put in the concrete steps for the front 3 rows until the roof is gone.

Are these the first 300 homes for rent from the 6000 to be built by the Sheikh?

Also, will they be linked to City so that the club can benefit from the income?
