lads lads lads, the new 3rd tier will be done for the start of next season, not for the rugby world cup but the start of the new football season, stop flapping

It surprises me that it wont be ready for the RWC as they are selling tickets on the assumption of over 50k seats arent they?

Rugby world cup is in October, they haven't sold season tickets for a stand that won't be available in August.

Have they got the corners of the new stand covered yet?

Not yet I'm afraid. Was down there this morning.

Let us make this very clear.

The South Stand Expansion will be ready for use by October 2015 - no danger

Place North West.

ADUG?

Christie + Co, the agent representing Britannia Hotels on the sale of London Road Fire Station in Manchester, is fielding interest from across Europe, America and the Middle East, with 'everything still to play for' in terms of finding a buyer. - See more at: http://www.placenorthwest.co.uk/new...n-road-fire-station.html#sthash.elzujnCX.dpuf

PS. Next full update at the end of next week. Hopefully the weather will improve by then.

Wouldn't that be fantastic if the Sheikh bought the former fire station? The proposed redevelopment has been a disaster and if anyone can do it, The Sheikh can!

Britannia have been complete twats in this. They are the worst hotel chain in Manchester, their Portland Street hotel is nothing but a cheap knocking shop. London Road would be stunning if Sheikh Mansour got his hands on it. I love that building. Hope it happens.

GET SOME NEW PICTURES ON HERE....

I was at the ground on Thursday and there looks very little change from the outside -over the last couple of weeks - at a distance. Getting closer you can see a a lot of work has taken place on the walk ways and the interior of the stand. Sorry no photos.

Don't you mean August?

I said October because one or two on here were having kittens. It probably will be ready for August.
