So in fact you have no actual knowledge, you are guessing, and by the way you didn't answer my question, will the 6000 who are sitting there be expected to watch matches in City square.

As I said talking rubbish.

I for one would not like to watch games in city square

"Excellent banter on the tour as usual, but we don't have a pitch anymore - it's a building site. So the dugout bit was scrapped in favour of seeing the new hospitality bits, which look incredible, to be fair

We've applied to the Leeg to have the first TWO home games as aways because we won't be finished building / plumbing / putting in grizzler escalators (yes, it's happening) on the extension until mid-August

ST sales are 'slow' but the new cheap seats are sold out eight times over, so the other side WILL be getting extended in time for 2018 and more corporate deals will be announced by Christmas so we can fill in the nice seats where me and Biggins and the other pooves used to sit

Gossip - Yar Yar apparently DID come back onside after the shopping list was revealed by HRH Shakey to him in a private audience - he and his son(s) are huge Yaya fans, transfer spending is planned to be 'much greater' this summer

Mite put some pics of cranes and skips up later if not ****ed up on booze

As you were, apologies for the off-topic football-related nature of this post"

I was told several months ago the first two games would be away. I think I posted it on here. Also when speaking to ticket office they said that quite a few season ticket holders had not renewed so many on the waiting list had or will be getting tickets.

As I posted earlier laings are negotiating the North stand - I think the cabins will end up staying on and we will start the enabling works after the rugby World Cup. In that case it could be ready for start of 2016-2017?

Won't be ready for then. They started the South Stand March 2014ish with the initial ground works.

Likely ready for 17/18 if it's an early go ahead.

If they start in October and the time scale is the same it will be 2017_2018 season, not next summer.

Why do people seem to think a tour guide would
a) be privvy to the schedule of building work
b) be privvy to our dealings with the Premier League
c) announce a) and b) to every person on their tour?

Question. I had seen one or two mentions and so I want to ask if there will be a renovation or redesign of the dug out section .i.e where the players sit?

So if our first 2 home games are away does that mean we could be looking at 4 aways on the trot ?

Which clique was this posted in on the vibe: the great unwashed; fucked out of your brains or the over subscribed feeble minded?

Not on wind up, have been in there ? or on the roof ? As for the new concourse it's still all just breeze block.
You are a Grade A dimwit.

Might surprise you to know that the wall will consist of exposed blockwork (or breeze blocks) just as with most of the existing concourse space in the stadium.

Just spoken to somone about the works. It will be ready on time. Many were on site today and double shifts will be utilised to ensure it is ready on time. They may play two away though as a fail safe.

Club recognise the experience and knowledge gained by the team on the south stand and are in negotiations with laing. It would be a waste and increase costs to let the team move off for a year and have to reset the preliminaries etc by moving the cabins. Project leaders moving onto other shines etc. I honestly can see the works starting as early as October. Not definitive but a good bet.

Good to hear. Not sure why quite a few on here are pulling their hair out at the prospect of playing two away on the bounce at the start of the season. It makes sense to do so, even if the works are planning to be completed right before the start of the season - that way any delay can be easily handled, without having to re-arrange fixtures once they've already been announced.

Excited about the North stand news. I really thought they were going to delay it by a year (or possibly more) after the inevitable slow ST uptake (since all the cheap seats have already vanished and there's still another 6,000 on the waiting list, the majority of which I'd argue were doing so on the premise of cheap tickets.

Sounds like a very good point. They must have to move the shop and all the City Square stuff first though - temporary buildings a little further back maybe?

Just trying to get my head round playing first games away is it
Away
Home but now away
Away
Home but now away
Away
First home game

First home game in September ?

That's very interesting. I am sure you will keep us informed. Apologies if I have missed something, but I thought there were issues with power holding back the North Stand redevelopment? Have they been resolved?
